The University of Geneva
The University of Geneva (French: Université de Genève, UNIGE) is an open exploration college situated in Geneva, Switzerland. It was established in 1559 by John Calvin, as a religious theological college and law school.[1] It stayed concentrated on philosophy until the 17th century, when it turned into a middle for Enlightenment grant. In 1873, it dropped its religious affiliations and got to be authoritatively secular.[3] Today, the college is the second-biggest college in Switzerland by number of students.
